Border method of irrigation
WebBorders are sometimes called border strips. In this method, irrigation water from the field channel is fed to the border strip by simply creating the field outlet or using siphons or gates. In the border strip, location of the opening(s) should cause sheet flow along the slope guided by the bunds on either side. WebJun 25, 2024 · ii.
