Excel drag fill handle not working properly

WebSep 25, 2015 · The fill handle option is enabled and calculation option is set to automatic. But my fill handle is STILL not working properly. There is a date column on this spreadsheet and I've even double-checked to make sure it's formatted as a date. When I drag the fill handle, it's simply copying the same date in each cell down the column.

Drag the cell by holding right mouse button and after dragging till required cell, relese the mouse button > Fill Series. 2. Put 1 in first cell and 2 in second cell.
