WebSTAAR Poetry Vocabulary - Dominoes Puzzle. Created by. Tales from Room 801. This product is designed to be used in middle school classrooms. There are a total of 16 playing dominoes. Each domino has literary terms and definitions on each side. The idea is that students match up the correct word with the definition. WebPoetry Unit Vocabulary Posters & Activities. This unit was created to work on RL.2.4, learning about how words and phrases supply rhythm and meaning in a story, poem, or song, and SL.2.5, create audio recordings of stories or poems. Each day, I taught the students 1 or 2 vocabulary words from this unit.
