WebI'm not an expert here, but I have also bought boots with heat moldable liners (Burton Ruler) and when I was trying them on I had 0 heel lift and and they were pushing a bit against my toes. I got them heat molded at the shop to a point where my toes only touch and there is not even a movement at my heel. Definitely better fit after heat molding.
