Tmpin high temperature

Whats up guys,I was in AMD Overdrive a couple minutes ago, When i checked the board status,Everything in my computer seems to be running at decent temps. For some reason TMPIN2 & TMPIN4 are running at such high temperatures that i think whatever that was would melt. WebFeb 20, 2024 · What do you consider a high temp? Understand that tmpin numbers are not always right, the address they refer to is different on different motherboards so can sometimes give false readings....

WebMar 29, 2024 · HWMonitor is known to be horrible and unreliable on ryzens. Seems to be showing the same temps, though on HWINFO 64 it is showing that my CPU temp is 94 c.... WebTemps in HWmonitor don't go over 50°C for all the components (GPU stays at 62°C in Furmark) and the PC seems cool even in stress tests. The only thing that bothers me is TMPIN3 and TMPIN5 in HWmonitor. Those temps change almost simultaneously and go from 80°C in idle to 100°C in load.

WebDec 23, 2015 · The TMPIN2 sensor went to 80 degrees and the alarm sounded again so closed down. I thought maybe thermal paste but I've never seated or re-seated a CPU so went to Dr Google. Read up a bit and pulled out the CPU and heatsink, cleaned both with isopropyl alcohol and used the 2 line method to re-seat it.

TMPIN2 reading on Hwmonitor usually used to be 2-3 C higher than CPU socket. Earlier this week I changed the NB heatsink and now my TMPIN2 is 5-7 C lower than Socket temp. Thats a big difference.
